For someone with utmost potential, fame is certainly to follow. Alternative rock group Stond Amp (the right spelling) have been all over the media for quite some time and have also received nominations at many awards including Hits FM Music Awards for Best Performance by Group or duo with vocal. Well, the group recently released their self-titled album and they are still busy with the music video releases from the set.

The band has come up with a visual for their award nominating single “Prashna”. The video was shot at Bishazar Taal in the amazing state of abundant wildlife-Chitwan and it has come out very well. In fact, the boys say it was a whole new experience for them. So they’re hoping for a good response from the audience.

Formed in 2007, Stond Amp’s current line-up consists of Visan Yonjan on vocals, Bizu Karmacharya on Guitars, Joheb Shah on Bass and drummer Sabin Shrestha. Comparatively, they are new to the music industry and they have felt that it is not an easy job to sustain in the ever-so threatening competitive scenario. However, that hasn’t discouraged the rockers from doing what they’ve always loved. In their own words, “Stond Amp is resiliently moving ahead to create waves in Nepali rock music scene by giving their best.” Now, that’s the attitude we’re all looking for!
