Wedding bells have been ringing crazy for our stars this season. First it was our cine star Manisha Koirala, then Nabin K. Bhattarai and now, it’s a great pleasure to break the news! We have the latest celebrity in the list to have said “I do”. He’s been a heartthrob of many ladies out there but who could’ve expected that one particular girl would steal his heart away so easily….Rapper/sports news anchor Sudin Pokharel, whom we all know as DA 69, has finally got hitched!

Well, the shocking story comes after nine months of knowing each other and dating. Sudin and Rashmi Rijal were stepping on to their tenth month when they decided to tie the knot on 6th July, Tuesday at a small secret ceremony at old Guheshwori temple. Secret because the nuptial was what we call a “flying marriage”! Yes, the couple eloped and the flimsy part doesn’t end just there. The whole plan wouldn’t have been possible without the assistance of DA’s buddy Asif Shah. In the beginning, Rashmi’s parents were fine about their relationship but the pair had doubt whether they wanted them together. So after looking for a favorable condition, Asif and DA flew all the way to Biratnagar to get the girl of his dreams, in disguise. Yes, since they knew, being the celebrities that they are, people everywhere could recognize them. They never in their life realized that masks and caps could come so handy!

When asked why such an unexpected/hasty move, Sudin replied, “This is definitely the biggest step I’ve taken in my entire life and I’ve realized at some point, everyone has to make such decisions. Not even my professional aspect has witnessed such a move but I’m really happy about it.” And why wouldn’t he be? They met each other on the beloved social networking site Facebook and our hunk was absolutely smitten by the honest, simple and caring/loving nature of Rashmi, who is currently working at a bank.

The ceremony was followed by a small get together with only few close friends present but no need to feel disheartened now because the newly wed have promised to throw a full-fledged wedding reception later on. And although, they’ve taken the action without their parents’ consent, they look forward to patch things up about which they’re very confident.
