Robin And The New Revolution, Mukti And Revival, Abhaya And The Steam Injuns. They’ve all had their share of success and what would be the common thing between these bands?? Yes, their names!! All of them have the frontman/woman’s names along with what they’re called. Anyway, you do get the point, right? So for now, there’s another group with the same feature making its way into the scene and you could say you know them…50-50…Well well, it’s a great pleasure for us, the Cheeguz, to present you Dibya Subba & The Blue Acidz!!!

Of course you remember Dibya Subba- the man behind hits such as “Paschatap” and “Pariwartan” both from his debut and second album respectively…But guess he got a little bored out of his solo-dom (even though it didn’t seem that way to us). So for his latest as in third effort, Subba has decided to strengthen his skill with the help of his new band- The Blue Acidz. Obviously, both the names are one now and that’s exactly what the new set is called as well. “Namaste (A Shubhakamana song)”- the first promotional track off of it was released exclusively on Friday through FMs, internet and all other electronic media.

Talking about the song, it’s a bit different than what Subba had been offering us before and experimental too as the singer is now working with a group of people, you know trying new stuff which is always welcome in the music industry but is also risky at the same time. Whatsoever, kudos to him and his gang for their initiation to innovate!

Well, Dibya Subba was accepted wonderfully by the audience for his previous work and I’m sure, since they’re already familiar with him, Dibya Subba & The Blue Acidz are going to be appreciated equally. With the lead single already out, you’ll just have to wait a little longer for their self-titled album which is going to head your way soon enough under Reeyaz Music. Patience is the name of the game…
