For someone with utmost potential, fame is certainly to follow. Alternative rock group Stond Amp (the right spelling) have been all over the media for quite some time and have also received nominations at many awards including Hits FM Music Awards for Best Performance by Group or duo with vocal. Well, the group recently released their self-titled album and they are still busy with the music video releases from the set.

Now, this is definitely something we’ve never come across before or heard of!! For the first time in Nepal, it’s a three-year-old releasing an album!! Yes, believe or not, it’s a small wonder standing behind the microphone in a studio, taking mic checks and singing verses she can’t even read or write!
Introducing Atithi Gautam K.C. who had her album “Atithi” launched last Sunday, 18th July at Nepal Tourism Board, Atithi might just be the youngest child singer to release an album in the whole world. With this, she also has a shot to be listed in the Guiness Book of World Records. Daughter of Orbit Publishers chairperson Uddhab K.C., Atithi started singing at the age of two and her collection of nine songs was released under the very company. For those who were still at doubt if the little miss sunshine could actually sing, the program was marked by a live performance which wowed everybody in the crowd.

If you remember the single “Samjhana Aidinchha”, then you must definitely know Sanup Poudel. Obviously, he is not a new name in the industry and Poudel is probably one of the most academically qualified talented singers we have. We also can’t forget his other hits such as “Yastai Sambandha” and “Timro Deshaima”. Born under the star sign Capricorn, the man on the spotlight believes in “Slow And Steady Wins The Race”. So that’s how he likes to take things, one at a time. “Maroon” is the colour that he thinks represents him and with a favourite quote like, “It is good to light a candle than to curse the darkness”, we can imagine how full of optimism he is. Believe it or not, we have yet another celebrity tying the knot!! This time around, it’s our very own former Miss Teen Nepal Priyanka Karki!! Yes, you heard it right, and you can absolutely ignore the false rumors that must’ve hit you few years back. Once a VJ and a model, and currently a student of Digital Media Production at the University of North Alabama, Priyanka met the man of her dreams in the US itself. In fact, he was a senior in her campus. Well, let’s break it to you, she is going to be Mrs. Rochak Mainali today! It’s been almost a month since the preparation began and everything’s been a rush-rush for the pair. And after yesterday’s reception from the bride’s side, the wedding ceremony will finally take place today at Anmol Banquet Club, New Baneshwor.

Total performer is the title onlookers would give Mausami Gurung, and she is all that. A forceful presence on stage, she compensates her petiteness with immaculate singing and superb stage presence. Add to this the entorouge consisting of Sheela Aley, Purshottam Neupane, model cum acttress Samjhana Budhathoki and the dance troop of Madan Thapa, it was destined to burn the stage. The occasion was the 16th anniversary of RGR musical program in Brunei.

Wedding bells have been ringing crazy for our stars this season. First it was our cine star Manisha Koirala, then Nabin K. Bhattarai and now, it’s a great pleasure to break the news! We have the latest celebrity in the list to have said “I do”. He’s been a heartthrob of many ladies out there but who could’ve expected that one particular girl would steal his heart away so easily….Rapper/sports news anchor Sudin Pokharel, whom we all know as DA 69, has finally got hitched!

Hits Fm 91.2’s show “The Buzz” first broke the news, RJ Sujita chirps, “And hold on to your seat or whatever it is you’re holding… Nabin K. Bhattarai bachelor no more!! He’s married, and it’s no joke!! The girl is Nabin with an ‘a’ - Nabina.”"Nabin Bhattarai got married?! Get out!!” a general reaction there, fans couldn’t believe their ears. We pinched ourselves pink, we had to confirm, we called our little insider birdie in the Bhattarai camp. After many tries, darn the mobile service, she finally picks up and cements what we just heard, “Yes, he has tied the knot. Shocking right??” Hell yes!! And we pinch ourselves some more, operation spread the news, more phone calls follow.
So it is done, single no more! You can’t say Nabin K Bhattarai, newlywed Wednesday to one of his fans, whom he met in Pokhara couple of months ago, didn’t get to enjoy a reign as Nepal’s most eligible bachelor. But it was about time he settled down. And after 30 plus years, the crooner finally succumbed to the institution called marriage and it was definitely ‘love’ that drove him to the altar.
